Born and raised in the small town of Havre de Grace, Maryland, Jared Yarbrough began a journey that would lead him to Los Angeles and the dream of entering the entertainment industry.  Before leaving Maryland, Jared obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, where he studied a mixture of Music, Film, Business Administration, and Marketing.  After a brief stint in law school (one week), where he was going to study entertainment law, Jared had a powerful epiphany to leave law behind and go straight for his true passion.  He quickly applied and was accepted to Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts’ Graduate Film and Television Producing Program.  Upon completing his studies and thesis film, “Olympus,” Jared earned a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the university located in Orange, California.  In “Olympus,” Jared directed actors Randy Wayne, star of ABC’s “Sons and Daughters,” Fred Meyers, star of Disney Channel’s “Even Stevens,” and Adam Larson, star of MTV’s “Road Rules.”  Jared is now busy writing innovative television pilot scripts, feature screenplays, and a young adult novel.  He loves to create stories that transport audiences into worlds of fantasy and science fiction, involving young adult characters that not only must deal with their own coming of age, but also being thrown into the complexities of the supernatural.
