FILM BIOGRAPHY - MATT PEEK and CAMERON FORD

Co-writers and co-directors Matt Peek and Cameron Ford became friends during high school film class in 1997 and have been collaborating on a range of projects from short films, to television series and feature films ever since.

In 2005, they wrote and directed the short film TOO FAR which, selected as a top 16 finalist from over 800 entries, screened at TROPFEST – ‘the worlds largest short film festival’.

Following that, TOO FAR screened as part of the QANTAS in-flight entertainment program and later screened at the ASPEN SHORT FILM FESTIVAL as part of John Polson’s ‘top 12 Tropfest films of all time’.
In 2007, Matt and Cam wrote and directed their second short film THE GREY CLOUD which again made the TROPFEST top 16 finals, this time taking out the award for best cinematography.

In 2008, Matt and Cam received $200,000.00 from Australian government funding body FILM VICTORIA (Animal Kingdom, Wilfred, Mad Max) to write and direct a half hour pilot episode of TOO FAR starring Peter Rowsthorn (Kath and Kim).

In 2009, Matt and Cam wrote and directed the short film SCORE, which opened at ST KILDA FILM FESTIVAL and featured heavily on the Australian short film festival circuit, screening at STINKWATER and DUNGOG FILM FESTIVAL among others.

From 2009 to present, Matt and Cam have been focused on creating / writing exciting and original television and feature film content for the U.S. (see below: projects in development).
